Business Network Portal 

Purchase order settings 

The customer admin user has a new tab in the company profile called “PO Settings”, where various purchase order settings can be controlled.  

These settings enable all purchase orders sent to suppliers in the Business Network Portal. Settings include enabling discounts on order line items and total net amount, and allowing partial delivery of goods, i.e. partial order confirmation. In addition, tolerance limits can be defined for order quantity and price. By adding the tolerance limits, the supplier can modify the ordered quantity or price to the defined tolerance percentage. 

Supplier trade discounts 

Three types of trade discounts can be added to the purchase orders in the Business Network Portal:

1. Item level buyer discount %
2. Supplier added discount %
3. Item level and order total discount.

All these discounts can be applied to the same purchase order. With the discount feature business partners can easily reduce the list prices on individual orders, for example in promotional pricing.
