COLLECTING PERSONAL INFORMATION

In order to provide you with the best possible service or user experience, OpusCapita may have to collect or request personal information about you. That is why OpusCapita collects and processes personal information about you with your consent. We provide the privacy protection authorities with appropriate reports on the use of personal information as required.

REGULAR DISCLOSURES OF DATA

OpusCapita’s business is international. When using this website, you accept that personal information about you collected via this website can be transferred, if the relevant legislation so permits, outside national borders on servers supporting this website (including the transfer of this information back from such locations to your country of residence) for the purpose of implementing and developing the services of this website and other OpusCapita services, or for the purpose of saving information for purposes stated in this privacy protection statement. The saved information can reside in Finland or any other country where OpusCapita operates. 

OpusCapita may provide specific products or services to its customers via subcontractors. OpusCapita may need to share personal information with these subcontractors so that they can provide their services to OpusCapita. WEBSITE USER IDENTIFICATION

In addition to collecting information that you submit yourself, OpusCapita may use automatic data collection tools to collect information about you when you visit an OpusCapita website. Such automatic data collection tools include cookies and similar tools in general use.

This website uses functions of the web analysis services Google Analytics and Google Tag Manager. The provider of this service is Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Irland.

Google Analytics uses so-called cookies. Cookies are text files, which are stored on your computer and that enable an analysis of the use of the website by users. The information generated by cookies on your use of this website is usually transferred to a Google server in the United States, where it is stored.

The storage of Google Analytics cookies and the utilization of this analysis tool are based on Art. 6 Sect. 1 lit. f GDPR. The operator of this website has a legitimate interest in the analysis of user patterns to optimize both, the services offered online and the operator’s advertising activities.

IP anonymization

On this website, we have activated the IP anonymization function. As a result, your IP address will be abbreviated by Google within the member states of the European Union or in other states that have ratified the Convention on the European Economic Area prior to its transmission to the United States. The full IP address will be transmitted to one of Google’s servers in the United States and abbreviated there only in exceptional cases. Contract data processing

We have executed a contract data processing agreement with Google and are implementing the stringent provisions of the German data protection agencies to the fullest when using Google Analytics.

Demographic parameters provided by Google Analytics

This website uses the function “demographic parameters” provided by Google Analytics. It makes it possible to generate reports providing information on the age, gender and interests of website visitors. The sources of this information are interest-related advertising by Google as well as visitor data obtained from third party providers. This data cannot be allocated to a specific individual. You have the option to deactivate this function at any time by making pertinent settings changes for advertising in your Google account or you can generally prohibit the recording of your data by Google Analytics as explained in section “Objection to the recording of data.”

Archiving period

Hotjar collects and processes information which is automatically and passively collected, whilst You navigate through and interact with the content on OpusCapita website, together with information on Your device or computer (such as cookies). SAFEGUARDING PERSONAL INFORMATION

We take the trust you place in us seriously. We use various technical measures to prevent unauthorised access to the information you submit through this website, and also any wrongful use of this information.

Personal Data is collected to databases that are protected by firewalls, authentication and other technical means. Databases and backups thereof are located in secure premises and only certain persons, designated beforehand, may access the data.

When especially confidential information is being collected or transferred, e.g. credit card information, we make use of TSL/SSL (Transport Layer Security/Secure Sockets Layer) encryption technology. TSL/SSL makes the information transferred between us unreadable to outsiders. PRINCIPLES OF DATA STORAGE

We regularly evaluate the necessity of data storage taking into account the applicable legislation. Additionally, we take care of the reasonable measures to ensure that Personal Data that is incompatible, outdated or incorrect is not stored or is rectified or removed without delay.

Where OpusCapita is processing and using your Personal Data as permitted by law or under your consent, OpusCapita will store your Personal Data (i) only for as long as is required to fulfil the purposes set out above or (ii) until you object to OpusCapita’s use of your Personal Data (where OpusCapita has a legitimate interest in using your Personal Data), or (iii) until you withdraw your consent (where you consented to OpusCapita using your Personal Data).

However, where OpusCapita is required by a valid contractual obligation or mandatory law to retain your Personal Data longer or where your Personal Data is required for OpusCapita to assert or defend against legal claims, OpusCapita will retain your Personal Data until the end of the relevant retention period or until the claims in question have been settled.

On its own initiative or by request, OpusCapita can replace, correct or delete incomplete, inaccurate or outdated personal information that has been collected via this website.

RIGHTS OF DATA SUBJECTS

You can request from OpusCapita at any time information about which Personal Data OpusCapita processes about you and the correction or deletion of such Personal Data. Please note, however, that OpusCapita can delete your Personal Data only if there is no statutory or contractual obligation or prevailing right of OpusCapita to retain it.

If OpusCapita uses your Personal Data as the controller based on your consent or to perform a contract with you personally, you may further request from OpusCapita a copy of the Personal Data that you have provided to OpusCapita. In this case, please contact us at dpa@opuscapita.com and specify the information or processing activities to which your request relates. OpusCapita will carefully consider your request and discuss with you how it can best fulfill it.  If OpusCapita processes your Personal Data on behalf of our customer and you would like to exercise your rights as a data subject, you need to contact the relevant customer (your service provider) for that purpose.

If OpusCapita uses your Personal Data as the controller, you can request from us that OpusCapita restricts your Personal Data from any further processing in any of the following events: (i) you state that the Personal Data OpusCapita has about you is incorrect, (ii) there is no legal basis for OpusCapita processing your Personal Data and you demand that OpusCapita restricts your Personal Data from further processing, (iii) you want to withhold your previous consent to the processing of your Personal Data, (iv) in case you object to the processing of your Personal Data by OpusCapita (based on OpusCapita’s legitimate interest) for as long as it is required to review as to whether OpusCapita has a prevailing interest or legal obligation in processing your Personal Data. Please direct any such request to us at dpa@opuscapita.com.

You may object to OpusCapita using Personal Data at any time. If you do so, OpusCapita will cease using your Personal Data for the above purposes and remove it from its systems unless OpusCapita determines and demonstrates a compelling legitimate interest to continue processing your Personal Data. Please direct any such request to us at dpa@opuscapita.com.

Lodging a complaint. If you believe that OpusCapita is not processing your Personal Data in accordance with the requirements set out herein or applicable EEA data protection laws despite of your requests, you can at any time lodge a complaint with the data protection authority of the EEA country in which you live or with the data protection authority of the country or state in which OpusCapita has its registered seat.

PRIVACY OF CHILDREN AND DEPENDANTS 

OpusCapita does not consciously request personal information from children below 13 years old, and OpusCapita’s websites are not intended for children below this age. Minors may not make purchases or other purchasing actions via this website without the consent of their parents or legal guardians, unless the relevant legislation so permits.

AMENDMENTS TO THIS PRIVACY PROTECTION STATEMENT
