OpusCapita appoints a new CEO to lead continued growth and transformation

Helsinki – 21. September 2020: OpusCapita Solutions Oy (“OpusCapita”), a leading European provider of Source-to-Pay and Business Network solutions, backed by Providence Strategic Growth (“PSG”), the growth equity affiliate of premier global asset management firm Providence Equity Partners, today announced that Øivind Kirksæter has been appointed as Chief Executive Officer of the Company, effective September 10th. He replaces Patrik Sallner, who has stepped down to pursue other opportunities.

Mr. Kirksæter is a highly experienced executive whose background includes various leadership positions in the financial technology sector. He most recently served as CEO of the Norway operations of Accountor, a pan-Nordic provider of financial and HR of software solutions. In this role, Mr. Kirksæter was responsible for leading over 650 employees across 72 offices and franchises. Previously, he was the CEO of FARA AS, a supplier of automatic fare collection solutions for public transport systems, during which time he led the company to achieve profitability for the first time in its history, as well as market leadership in the Nordics. Earlier, he was the CEO of Visma Unique for 3 years, helping the company expand its revenues and employee base substantially, and successfully integrated several strategic acquisitions. He graduated from the Norwegian University of Science and Technology with a Master of Science degree in Engineering.
