Equinor has 20 000 employees globally with a diverse business portfolio across several sectors, such as wind, solar energy, oil and gas. OpusCapita won the agreement after competitive evaluation and a six-month proof of concept (POC). OpusCapita showed their capability to address maintenance repair and operations (MRO) parts and services procurement as well as standard indirect products and services all in one easy to use interface.

“We are very pleased to have won this agreement and it is of strategic importance to OpusCapita. It enables us to be a close partner with Equinor, working together to help them realize their automation and digitization strategies globally,” said Patrik Sallner, CEO OpusCapita. “It is a confirmation that our procurement solutions are market leading and strengthen us in our mission to digitalize global trade.”

OpusCapita will implement an overall SaaS solution based on their catalog and service procurement solutions that deliver highly automated purchasing processes and market leading capabilities for MRO parts and service procurement.

“We see great potential with the agreement to broaden our cooperation with Equinor, implementing solutions that improve Equinor´s processes. However, equally important for OpusCapita, is that Equinor’s deep global procurement knowledge and MRO experience will help in providing strategic guidance to our product roadmap for asset intensive industries”, said Patrik Sallner.
