Helsingin Energia selects OpusCapita as its new printing and data transmission operator

Helsingin Energia and OpusCapita Group Ltd have signed a contract on July 4th concerning printing and data transmission operator services for Helsingin Energia. The value of the contract, which has a minimum duration of three years, is substantial as Helsingin Energia, one of the largest energy companies in Finland, sends out more than two million invoices each year.
The contract was put out for tender in accordance with the Act on Public Contracts. Helsingin Energia selected OpusCapita Ltd, a financial automation and outsourcing company, to provide the tendered services. Under the contract, Helsingin Energia will consolidate all multichannel invoicing to OpusCapita for the contract period, with an optional two-year extension.

OpusCapita also provides services to other energy-sector companies, including Jyväskylä Energy Group, Tampereen Sähkölaitos Oy and Gasum Group. In the other Nordic countries, OpusCapita’s energy sector customers include Mälarenergi Ab, Fortum Värme Ab, Fortum AS, EB Energi and Maik AS. OpusCapita is a Finnish Energy Industries cooperation member for Service Production, Electricity Supply and Trading, Electric Networks.
